The 40-year-old ex-boyfriend of Carey, went on to reflect on the estranged couple’s decision to part their ways, "Our decision to embark on different paths is mutual".

He noted that both of them have no hard feelings but only profound respect and an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards each other.

The background dancer also appreciated the 54-year-old singer’s dedication to family and gushed over her children’s "warmth and kindness [that] have enriched life in ways words cannot express".

He also requested to be understanding and respect his privacy during this "sensitive" post-breakup time.

The US-born dancer addressed the outpouring of love and support from fans for which he was "extremely grateful for the encouragement that continued to uplift" him.

"I eagerly anticipate continuing my journey, knowing my passion for inspiration, dance, and the creative arts will resonate in the unfolding chapter," he concluded the lengthy post.
