While Taylor Swift is no stranger to making waves on social media, this time the spotlight is on her for a negative reason.

The 34-year-old pop sensation has been labeled a 'distraction' for Travis Kelce following the Kansas City Chiefs’ slew of losses over the last few matches.

Notably, the team faced setbacks in previous key matchups, including the Chiefs vs Bills and Eagles.

The NFL fans' disappointment perpetuated after the Chiefs’ loss against Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, Dec. 25.

The Cruel Summer chart topper turned up in the stands with her parents and Kelce's father, all cheering for Travis throughout the game.

However, the Chiefs only managed to score 14 touchdowns, prompting the raiders to emerge as victors with a total score of 20.

After the game, a NFL fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his thoughts and blamed the Midnight hitmaker for the team’s loss, which culminated in an internet feud.

He wrote, "Feels like it's about time to call Taylor Swift a distraction. What do you think, Patrick? Andy? How about you, Travis?"

A Swifty pounced over the user and penned, "Chiefs fans blaming Taylor Swift for this loss is ridiculous. Jessica Simpson, Giselle Bündchen, Ciara & now Taylor Swift have had fingers pointed at them for football losses".

"WOMEN ARE NOT TO BLAME FOR THE FAILURES OF MEN. Hold your team accountable, NOT women. #ISaidWhatISaid," the user added.

A second fan dismissed the blame game and stated, "Last time I checked Taylor Swift wasn’t playing for the Chiefs. that’s like calling out and Blaming the Chiefs poor performance on Britney Mahomes and his Little brother Jackson. It’s an Absolutely ridiculous and pathetic excuse."

Meanwhile, another naysayer chimed in and suggested, "It's not really a bad excuse, it's the truth. He keeps looking up at her; he doesn't have his mind on the game. She needs to stay home."

Earlier, the Chiefs scored multiple back to back victories when Taylor began attending the games.

A source later chirped to The Messenger that Kelce believes the Lover singer is "his good luck charm."

However, as fans note now, the magic of that good luck charm might be fading.
