BLACKPINK Jennie rings in Christmas eve with surprise video release

BLACKPINK Jennie Kim treated her fans with two covers ahead of Christmas eve.

According to Soompi, on Sunday, December 24, the Pink Venom songstress released a special festive video featuring herself covering Sia’s Snowman and Zion.T’s Snow.

She shared the link of the video in one of her Instagram stories followed by the second story where she wrote, "I prepared two winter songs that I like…"

Kim wrapped up the brief caption with greetings, "I hope everyone will have a warm end of the year. Merry Christmas".

Following the release, fans and friends alike praised the singer for her vocal talent and performance.

Her band member Rosé showed her admiration on her Instagram story by sharing Jennie's songs with a caption, "Listening to this, this years Eve" along with a red heart emoji.

The You & Me songstress reposted Rosé’s story on her account and wrote, "Rosie posie… I wuv you" with a white heart emoji.

In addition to the stories, Kim also shared a montage of pictures and a short clip, teasing the behind the scenes of the recordings.

The shots included scenes from inside the studio, two christmas posters, and a selfie from what seemed to be her makeup room.

One of the pictures captured Kim's holiday preparations, featuring a large Christmas tree adorned with fairy lights, blue ribbons, and polaroids.

Furthermore, gifts wrapped in blue sheets and ribbons were neatly stacked under the tree.

Besides the covers, Kim added an extra layer of excitement among her followers after she announced the release of her new label, OA.
