Dick Van Dyke who recently turned 98 is married to Arlene Silver.
At first the legendary actor tied the knot with Margerie Willett in 1948, however in a twist of fate the couple got divorced after 40 years of marriage in 1984.
Later he fell in love with Michelle Triola and their relationship lasted for over three decades.
However, in 2009 she died of cancer.
After her demise Dyke found love again in the arms of Silver, 52, and the couple exchanged marital vows in 2012.
The two crossed each other’s path for the very first time in 2006 at the SAG Awards when Silver was working as a makeup artist and Dyke attended the event as a guest.
After Dyke’s partner Triola, 76, died silver became a shoulder for him to lean on while he grieved the loss of his long-term romance.
Sometime later the two started dating. The Mary Poppins star shared to PEOPLE, “Arlene would come by after work and bring me food," and continued "She was such a support, I fell in love."
Almost after two years of dating the Carolina actress moved into Dyke's residence in Malibu.
The following year, the love birds tied the knot on 29 February in an intimate wedding ceremony and Silver who was 40 at that time broke the stereotype by donning a fuchsia wedding gown, as per Hollywood Reporter.
Later in September the couple had a second larger wedding with a "Seafoam Circus" theme
The loved up couple never shied away from sharing their love for each other openly and attended many events together over the past two decades including 2018’s Mary Poppins Returns.
Silver also joined the four-time primetime Emmys winner, when he was honored at the 2021 Kennedy Center Honors.
