Kelly Clarkson, Cher ready for duet in future?

Fans have been demanding a duet from Cher and Kelly Clarkson following the latter’s rendition on This Christmas on the Kelly Clarkson Show.

The wish comes after the 41-year-old singer-songwriter sang DJ Play a Christmas song during her 'Kellyoke' segment.

Shortly after the clip was shared by the show on X, formerly known as twitter, fans rallied to the comment section to praise the singer.

A fan gushed over her vocal talent, "Cher's is fab, but I like the less auto tuned version Kelly does here. She can literally sing anything, and that's why she can't get people to sing with her".

A second fan noted, "Kelly, Cher will be very proud of your version. Thanks".

The 77-year-old Goddess of Pop took to her social media on Wednesday, December 20, to praise the singer on her cover.

She wrote, "KELLY,,,,U ACED IT‼️" she jokingly continued, "U GOT THE GIRL VERSION OF MY VOICE [laughing emoji]".

"BABE,I AM OUT OF MY MIND OVER UR VERSION.. THE MODULATION GAVE ME …I DON'T KNOW, I JUST LOST MY MIND‼️ SISTER U GOT IT," she enthusiastically added.

Meanwhile, her comment section was flooded from fans' comments demanding a duet.

One fan exclaimed, "She smashed it out of the park! We need a duet".

"It would be absolutely amazing if you guys collaborated[emojis]," a second user expressed.

Another fan asked, "Duet in the future?" meanwhile, a fourth user said, "We need a duet of you two ASAP !!"

Kelly Clarkson replied to the Strong Enough songstress from her official twitter account, "Girl, you gave us the greatest gift this Christmas with this song! Thank you for letting me sing it!".

"I love you so much, and you made my year with your post!," she concluded with a red heart emoji.
