Princess Kate reportedly preferred to have light and healthy breakfast options on Christmas Day, in stark contrast to Prince William’s choices.
According to Daily Mail, former royal chef Darren McGrady revealed previously that on Christmas morning in Sandringham, different breakfasts are prepared for men and women.
He said the ladies opt for a light breakfast, consisting of “sliced fruit, a half grapefruit, toast and coffee delivered to their rooms.”
Meanwhile , the men enjoy a proper classic English breakfast including eggs, bacon, kipper, mushrooms and grilled kidneys.
It is widely known that Kate, 41, is very athletic as she never shy away from sharing it during several of her interviews.
So, to maintain a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle she chooses nutritious food and the Christmas season can’t stop her from balancing her diet.
On the contrary, William tends to enjoy the festive season with all extravagant feasts that come with it, a former royal worker revealed.
Though the royals have access to the best chefs around the globe, their Christmas meal is somewhat “boring.”
McGrady told the outlet, "It was the same meal every year. They're actually boring when it comes to festivities. They didn't do hams or anything, just traditional turkeys."
"The turkey is served with mashed and roasted potatoes, chestnut or sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce and bread sauce. Vegetables include brussels sprouts, carrots and roast parsnips,” the former royal chef added.
As far as Kate is concerned, in order to process all the greasy stuff she hits the gym, a source tipped the publication that,”Kate takes her toned physiques exceptionally seriously.”
The tipster went on to say that the Princess is also “a fan of CrossFit and yoga, makes time to go for a run most days, enjoys cycling, and does most of her workouts without a personal trainer."
As per Cosmopolitan, it is reported that she prefers to head to the swanky Harbour Club in Chelsea, where her mother-in-law, Princess Diana, was also a member.
