Heather Rae Young faces backlash over new tattoo honouring son

Heather Rae Young showered her love for her only son,Tristan Jay El Moussa with new ink but was faced with scrutiny for the placement of her tattoo. 

Young, 36, recently took to her Instagram and revealed that she has got a new tattoo for her 10-month-old boy, who she shares with husband Tarek El Moussa.

She shared two photographs along with a caption, "before & after Tristan [emojis]... it’s the little things [emoji]"

In the second snapshot of the post she showed off her new ink engraving, which was Tristan’s name in script font.

The sweet tribute to her little bundle of joy was just beneath her existing heart tattoo behind her ear.

The first picture of the carousel was from the couple's maternity shoot, the Flip Flop alum was seen wrapping her arms around Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa star, who was cradling her baby bump.

The comment section was filled with mixed reactions from 3.2 million followers.

Young’s Selling Sunset co-star Chrishell Stause poured in her love in the comments section with a row of heart emojis.

Another fan loved it commenting, "Aww I did the same in the same location for my daughter! [emoji]"

However, the majority of her comments were criticizing her over the placement.

One fan chimed in, "You placed in a place that your own eyes can’t see??"

A second user wrote, "Not behind the ear. So tacky."

Nevertheless, some users urged to be nice with the model and to let her enjoy what she wants with one user noting, "Stop the negativity! She is expressing the love she has for her son. Be kind!"

For the unversed, Young tied the knot with the TV personality, 42, in October 2021.

The following year the couple announced that they are expecting their first child in July.

Young is also a mother to Tarek’s two kids; 13-year-old daughter, Taylor, and eight-year-old son, Brayden, with ex-wife Christina Haack.
