Taylor Swift officially confirmed her relationship with Travis Kelce.
The pop icon spoke for the first time on her budding romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in an interview with Time Magazine.
After being named Person of The Year 2023 by the publication, the singer laid bare her relationship with the athlete saying, "By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple."
"I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date," she added.
The Love Story crooner gave more insight on how the two started dating, "This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell. We started hanging out right after that."
She further spilled the beans that before her relationship with the footballer went "public" they already spent a significant amount of time that "no one knew" for which she is grateful as they "got to get to know each other."
The Shake It Off songstress also threw shade on the remarks claiming that her relationship was a "publicity stunt" saying that she will not stop cheering for her boyfriend during his games.
"I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other
people are there and we don’t care," adding, "we’re just proud of each other.”
Taylor and Travis first sparked dating rumors on September 24 after she was spotted supporting Kansas City during their game with the Chicago Bears.
The two stayed mum on news while she continued to show up at several of his games.
