Lori Harvey and Damson Idris confirm breakup in a joint statement

Lori Harvey and Damson Idris, who only started dating earlier this year, have parted ways.

The estranged couple announced that they called it quits in a joint statement given to The Hollywood Reporter.

The statement, which was shared on Tuesday, November 7, by the outlet read, “We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”

Not to mention, ever since the news has been made public, Harvey, 26, who loved to brag about her then-boyfriend on Instagram, removed every trace of Idris, 32, from her account.

The rumors of their relationship first swirled after the two were spotted leaving a restaurant together in West Hollywood in December 2022.

The following month, Steve Harvey’s adoptive daughter and the actor, best known for his role in Snowball confirmed their relationship via social media.

The British actor shared a snapshot on his Instagram stories that featured him kissing his new flame on her cheek.

Without sparing any more time, the new couple was seen celebrating Harvey’s 26th Birthday party at her star studded event on the very next day.

A month later, Idris and the model took the opportunity to make their debut appearance as a couple at the premiere of the sixth and final season of Snowfall.

The pair were seen smitten by each other as they graced the red carpet in Los Angeles.

Not to mention, just a month prior to getting into a relationship with Idris , Harvey, who dated Micheal B. Jordan shared that she wanted to focus on herself.

She told Essence Magazine, “This moment is about me.”

In an interview given last year in December, she continued, “I feel like it’s always been [about] me attached to something or someone. This time, it’s about me.”

“Self-love, self-care, self-reflection. I’m being a little selfish right now. It’s my time,” she emphasized.
