Halloween holds a special place in the hearts of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as it brings back sweet memories from the time when they were dating in “secret.”
Reportedly, celebrating the spooky holiday is banned in the Royal fold because the members of the family are expected to “uphold total class and sophistication.”
However, Prince Harry, 39, and his wife Meghan, 42, shared a secret love for the holiday and didn’t let the ban stop them from celebrating their hearts out in the season.
Taking a trip down memory lane to the 2016 spooky season, which marked Sussexes' first Halloween together, it has always been a special time of year for both of them.
In 2016, just before the night Harry and Meghan’s dating news came out, the duo went to an apocalypse-themed party in Toronto with Princess Eugenie and her now-husband James Brooksbank.
The couple went incognito with Harry donning a Mad Max costume that covered their face and Meghan wearing a camo top, paired with ripped black shorts as she adorned her halloween look with aviator hat and fishnets.
Since the parents of two have withdrawn from their royal ranks in 2021 and moved out of Britain to settle down in the US, they now play by their own rules in California.
According to the Daily Express, they even took along the young prince Archie who is 4, and two-year-old Princess Lilibet for trick or treating on Wednesday, November 1.
Although its unclear what ups and downs the Sussexes experienced since stepping down from their royal duties, one thing that has remained in their favor is that they have embraced the Halloween celebrations wholeheartedly.
Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were having a rough phase in their relationship amid all the house hunting news but seemingly as the spooky season approached, they might rejuvenate their love once again.
