Joss Stone stepped in wedlock with Cody DaLuz after a “magical” bouquet catch!
During a lively discussion with 5 News presenters on the Apollo Theatre musical, Time Traveller’s Wife, the actress and singer recalled a scene that tied her fate for the rest of her life.
Dudley News reported, citing 5 News, that Stone, 36 shared she "almost reached out to catch the [bouquet], which sort of fell down here and there was an empty seat, just like the only empty seat in the whole place.”
Born as Joscelyn Eve Stoker, famously known as Joss Stone, added, “And no-one went to pick [the flowers] up and I was like, well they were for me. So I picked them up and everyone was like, yay.”
She insisted that catching a flower on the audience of the new London production was a “good sign" for her and then she casually revealed, “Anyway, I went home to Nashville and we got married last Thursday.”
The news correspondent Tessa Chapman asked her surprisingly: “Sorry, you got married last Thursday? Last Thursday?” She then congratulated the Miracle Worker songstress.
The Grammy Award winner explained, “Yes, you know when you say, when you do that and the person who catches it – I know I didn’t catch it – I was so shy of them I was like oh my god they’re totally for me, they’re for me.”
Joss rose to fame in late 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album, The Soul Sessions which earned her the 2004 Mercury prize shortlist.
