K-drama's iconic actor, Park Seo-joon prepares to step into the Marvel-lous world of superheroes.
Fans were elated as Marvel Studios released a new poster for the upcoming superhero film The Marvels, featuring Park, 34, as prince Yan.
The superhero franchise officially introduced the new role in a recent update on X, formerly Twitter.
In the poster shared by the franchise, Seo Joon is photographed in a maroon outfit and long hair.
As per the caption, the South Korean actor will play the role of Prince Yan.
Park Seo Joon is going to star in the Marvel Alongside Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris and Samuel L. Jackson.
In the original comics, Prince Yan marries Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson in the films.
The film will hit the US theaters on November 10.
The doting fans of the actor took to twitter to express their excitement, "So excited that so many more people will get to discover him!!! So proud of him, always!" a user tweeted.
A second devotee of k-dramas joined in, "As someone who has been watching K-dramas since 2016....as someone who greatly appreciates the acting abilities of Korean actors...I can't explain how proud I feel. This is a big moment on so many levels. Barely know much abt the Marvel universe, but will watch this just for him."
