Tom Sandoval discussed the aftermath of his infidelity scandal in an episode of the reality series, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

In new clips surfaced ahead of the upcoming season of the challenging reality show, Sandoval, 40, became emotional as he shared insights into his life.

In an exclusive clip released by US weekly on Monday, October 16 , the American TV personality revealed, “I’ve had a hell of a, like, three months,” as tears welled up in his eyes.

When the Special Forces Directing Staff (DS) inquired why he was struggling, the TomTom owner admitted that it was because he had “an affair.”

Who did Tom Sandoval cheat with:

Sandoval cheated on his longtime girlfriend with their friend Rachel "Raquel" Leviss, as the trio star together in reality TV series, Vanderpump Rules.

He described the situation as, “It was just the perfect storm, like, my publicist had never seen anything like it. ‘A [expletive] reality star having an affair’ [was] on CNN? It’s so stupid.”

Who did Tom Sandoval cheat on:

Sandoval cheated on his then girlfriend, Ariana Madix. The two had been dating for nine years and called it quits in March 2023 after Sandoval's secret months-long dating come to front, the outlet confirmed.

This led Sandoval’s Vanderpump Rules costars to cut ties with him in favor of Ariana, 38.

“It became this ‘Team Ariana’ thing. They sold $200,000 in merch in, like, two weeks,” Sandoval recalled. “Seeing people I’ve been friends with for well over a decade just turn on me, it was just so exhausting.”

Sandoval’s DS instructors, however, had little sympathy for his actions or at least tears, noting that it looks “pathetic” to attempt to “play [the] victim” when he isn’t one.

“The first thing you should be doing is owning it,” Mark Billingham said.
