Taylor Swift absence at Travis Kelce’s latest NFL game over the weekend left fans feeling quite displeased.
Fans turned to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their disappointment as Taylor, 33, left Blank Space in the stands of the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn., on Sunday, Oct. 8, amid her burgeoning love with the NFL player, 34.
A user shared a picture with text WHERE IS TAYLOR SWIFT and tweeted, “All the swifties today when they realize they’re watching football for no reason. #NFL #TaylorSwift.”
Fans also speculated whether the rumored duo is done with their brief romance with one asking, “Is the Love Story over?”
Not to mention, the Midnight crooner also did not wish her rumored beau on his birthday.
“When RedZone breaks in with a special announcement like there’s a catastrophic injury or situation in Minnesota, and they announce that Taylor Swift is not in attendance. SMH,” one sports fan sneered.
“If you were tuning in to the Chiefs-Vikings game to see Taylor Swift, you’ll just have to picture her in your wildest dreams,” a tweet from The Athletic read. “She is not in attendance in Minnesota to watch Travis Kelce.”
Because of her absence, Twitter users are calling for a comparison of the latest game's statistics with those of previous matches in which Taylor was cheering for the Chiefs, “I want to know the viewership stats for today's game compared to last week's record.”
Another user jokingly said, “No Taylor? What’s the point."
"I need a journalist in Minnesota to see how many people only went to the Vikings vs Chiefs game hoping to see Taylor Swift," they added.
