Noelia Voigt was crowned the new Miss USA as the 2023 pageant concluded on Friday night, September 29.
The pageant took place at the Grand Sierra Resort at the heart of Reno in Nevada and the show was broadcast live on the CW Network.
The 2023 show started with 50 other state titleholders, after narrowing down the contestants to 20 finalists, only five remained following to the swimwear and gown rounds.
Voigt, 23, emerged victorious, outshining other state title holders. Among the final five contestants were Voigt herself, Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii, Jasmine Daniels of Pennsylvania, Alexis Loomans of Wisconsin and Lluvia Alzate of Texas.
Savannah Gankiewicz, representing Hawaii, earned the title of first runner-up.
During the Q&A segment, when Miss Voigt was asked what she would contribute to the Miss Universe Organization as a “Brand Ambassador” and Miss USA, as a “Bilingual Venezuelan-American,” she promised to connect with the diverse communities across United Stated.
The judging panel included, Vivica A. Fox, former Real Housewife Luann De Lesseps and beauty vlogger Patrick Starr.
Born to a Venezuelan mother and American father, Noelia Voigt is the first Venezuelan-American woman to be crowned Miss Utah USA and eventually Miss USA 2023.
With this achievement the Florida-born miss Voigt gained another honor of becoming the third woman from Utah to be crowned as Miss USA after 63 years.
She is an American interior design student, model and beauty pageant title holder and will represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2023 Pageant on November 18 2023.
