Russell Brand’s wife is ‘standing by her man’ amid sexual assault allegations

Russell Brand's wife Laura Gallacher has gotten his back in this perplexing phase.

The Arthur actor was accused of rape and sexual assault by multiple women, exposed in a joint investigation by The Times, The Sunday Times and Channel 4. 

The couple began dating in 2015, and tied the knot in 2017.

Gallacher is currently pregnant with the couple's third child.

She is the younger sister of TV star Kirsty Gallacher and daughter of Scottish Golfer Bernard Gallacher.

Though Laura belongs to a high profile family, she does not want to be in the limelight as she loved being a stay at home mother. She is an author and wrote journals on parenting.

A friend's statements obtained from Daily Mail revealed that at the time of dating, Laura was strongly infatuated and wanted to "mend" Russell.

Further he shared that, “What Russell did was firmly in the past, way before he and Laura met.”

"Of course it isn't easy but they are determined to get through this," added by the friend.

Meanwhile, Ms Gallacher’s elder sister Kirsty backed her brother-in-law publically and reposted his video with a red heart emoji to show her full support. 

Later she removed it after the full extent of the allegations were revealed.

The Sky Sports Star, 47 shared a two-minute clip where Brand "vehemently" denied "very serious criminal allegation" made against him.
