Jeezy filed for divorce from Jeannie Mai Jenkins on Thursday in Atlanta, Georgia.
The love story of rapper, 45, and TV host, 44 has reached the final chapter.
As per the documents obtained by Billboard, the divorce is taking place on the grounds of the marriage being “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.”
The filing further stated that the former couple is “currently living in a bona fide state of separation.”
One day before filing for the divorce the Me Ok rapper posted a rather cryptic caption on his latest Instagram post, which later the fans unraveled as his cue for separation.
The I Love It rapper shared his pictures posing with his Mercedes-Benz with a caption, "Too focused on who I’m becoming to focus on who’s not coming with me," the 45-year-old captioned the post.
Not to mention in pictures, Jezzy was clearly seen wearing his wedding ring.
Additionally, from the papers obtained from the outlet, it was disclosed that the rapper requested to share the custody of the duo’s 1-year old daughter, Monaco.
Fans are curious as to what led to the couple's divorce as The Real Show host celebrated his husband’s new book Adversity For Sale only nine days prior.
She captioned: “Today I celebrate a remarkable milestone achieved by my husband, @jeezy, whose memoir ‘Adversity For Sale’ has soared to the New York Times bestsellers list.”
