Tekashi 6ix9ine is with the police.
The scandal-plagued rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has been taken into custody in Florida.
According to jail documents, the 27-year-old "GOOBA" hitmaker was booked into Palm Beach County Jail on accusations of failing to appear on Wednesday night.
Three hours later, the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was freed on a $2,000 bond.
Just a few months ago, he was attacked by "three or four thugs" in a Florida LA Fitness bathroom, which led to his most recent run-in with the cops.
During the beating, two guys towered over 6ix9ine as he lay on the lavatory floor, trying to shield his head from the blows, in a horrific video that went viral on social media in March.
As one of the men kicks him in the stomach and the other strikes him in the head, they yell at him to "shut the f-k up" while doing so.
The ex-con was taken to the hospital right away for treatment of his cuts, bruises, and injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
Since then, he has spoken up about the assault, which his baby's mom has described as "embarrassing" for their daughter, who is 7 years old.
Since then, the rapper has criticised his assailants online, branding them "nothing but cowardly."
