Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe need prayers to get through their split.
According to prior reports, the former Bachelorette contestant and Kaitlyn Bristowe called it quits this week. This was a shocking event for those who follow or are fans of Bachelor Nation.
"We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life-altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate," wrote Tartick and Bristowe in a joint statement.
"We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life-altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate."
When Jason appeared as a guest on Kaitlyn's podcast in 2018, they got to know one another. In May 2021, they got engaged.
Late on Monday, Tartick posted pictures of himself and Bristowe along with the message, "Thank you for the support and love over the years."
"I will forever be grateful for this beautiful person that was brought into my life."
For the first time, Tartick addressed the split on his own in this message.
Following their initial explanation to onlookers that they would be sharing custody of their pets, Tartick and Bristowe continued as follows:
"Continuing our friendship is incredibly important to both of us. We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other."
Adding, "It’s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die."
In a third post, Tartick emphasised how "beyond heartbroken" he was that his chapter with Bristowe was over.
"Please be kind as we go through our individual journeys to heal," he told folks.
