Josh Allen isn’t a fan of prying eyes invading his personal life with rumors and conspiracy theories.
In a new interview, the Buffalo Bills quarterback expressed his revolt over paparazzi going to great lengths to get a scoop on his private life, alluding to his recent romance with Hailee Steinfeld.
Allen and Steinfeld sparked speculations of a budding romance after they were spotted sharing a kiss on a boat in July.
During an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast, Josh expressed, "The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind," referring to headlines about him “making out with his girlfriend.”
The athlete went on to condemn the instance where he spotted a photographer “on a boat” trying to take their photos.
Allen explained that it’s a “gross feeling” which creates a sense of “insecurity” for the new couple.
While the NFL star didn’t directly address his relationship status with the Hawkeye star, he didn’t seem to mind when the podcast’s hosts referred to Steinfeld as his girlfriend.
Josh and Hailee first sparked romance rumors after they were spotted hanging out in New York City in May.
Since then, the pair have been spotted on several outings but have remained tight-lipped about their relationship.
“He is really serious about her,” an insider told the Daily Mail last month. “It is so early in their relationship, but he has told friends and family that he'd like to give her a ring before winning a [Super Bowl] ring.”
The athlete split from his girlfriend Brittany Williams in April after dating for almost six years.
Meanwhile, Hailee’s last public relationship was with Niall Horan.
