Vans honour Mac Miller with special Swimming collaboration
Mac Miller's fifth album Swimming was honoured on its fifth year with an iconic design
In honour of the five-year anniversary of late rapper Mac Miller’s release of his fifth studio album Swimming, Vans teamed up with the musician's estate to design a special version of the footwear giant's classic pair the Authentic sneaker.
Set to launch today, the Mac Miller x Vans Authentic collaboration features special designs to mark five years of Swimming.
The classic black canvas shoe has an unmissable Yin-Yang symbol on the toe cap, along with the late rapper's name and birth year printed across the midsole along with its signature red Vans patch on the heel of the shoe.
The pair is then packaged in a special box designed with the same Ying-Yang symbol along with the musician's name and his album's name.
As per the company, proceeds from the sale of the collaboration will be donated to the Mac Miller Fund, a nonprofit that is aimed to provide resources and opportunities to children belonging from underprivileged areas in order to bring out to their fullest potential.
