Lizzo’s dance captain Shirlene Quigley’s name’s been trending alongside the singer recently.
Here is all you need to know about the dancer.
Lizzo's dance captain is a Los Angeles native Shirlene Quigley, aged 39.
She debuted in the 2003 music video for "Crazy In Love" as one of Beyonce's "Uhh Oh" girlfriends.
The dancer has also collaborated with Rihanna, Missy Elliott, Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown, Destiny's Child, and Mary J. Blige.
Since 2019, Quigley has travelled as Lizzo's dancing captain.
She also served as a judge on Lizzo's Watch Out For The Big Grrrls reality series on Amazon Prime.
Three former dancers for Lizzo have filed a lawsuit, and Quigley is listed as one of the defendants.
She is accused of sharing "[inappropriate] fantasies", and "oversharing her [inappropriate] habits and [intimate] life with her husband".
Quigley is also accused of pushing her Christian beliefs and "took every opportunity to proselytize to any and all in her presence - regardless of protestations."
The dance captain allegedly revealed Arianna Davis' virginity in interviews and on social media without Arianna's consent.
Quigley didn’t even stop encouraging dancer Noelle Rodriguez to convert to Christianity after cast members requested it, saying, "No job and no one will stop me from talking about the Lord."
Davis filmed a meeting due to her eye condition, and Quigley is accused of "berating" her before Lizzo, who immediately fired Davis.
