Logan and Jake Paul have detailed their father’s abusive behaviour towards the brothers as they were growing up.
In a recently released documentary on Jake’s life titled, Untold: Jake Paul the Problem Child, the former YouTube star alleged that his father would "slap the [expletive] out of me" all through childhood, traumatizing him for life.
"My dad would slap the [expletive] out of me. I don’t resent it. I’m understanding of why he did that. That’s all he knew. He always said ‘life’s not easy, life’s not fair.’"
His older brother Logan doubled down on the boxer’s claims, describing their dad as a "menace," however, he said: "Jake may throw around the word ‘abusive.’ I prefer not quite legal."
Meanwhile, Greg, their father refuted claims of abuse, saying he "never laid hands on my kids."
He continued: "And I did tell him, I said, ‘Jake, I did pick you up and throw you on a couch couple times.’ [He said], ‘Well, I was afraid of you.’ I’m like, ‘That’s what the [expletive] dads are supposed to do.'"
Jake explained that Greg’s tough love was the push that prompted them in front of the camera. "He was so hard and so tough on us that my brother and I’s imaginations really started to flare up," the boxer explained.
"So one day we get a camera, and we just start filming our lives," he shared.
"Jake is still traumatized to this day about how my dad treated him. And they still don’t get along like they should," shared Logan Paul.
