'Emotional' Bebe Rexha confirms split from boyfriend over fatphobia

Bebe Rexha couldn’t hold back her tears while performing her Best F'n Night Of My Life gig in London, as she confirmed her previously speculated breakup with ex-boyfriend Keyan Safyarion.

The I’m A Mess singer painted the town red slaying in a plunging black jumpsuit at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire over the weekend.

Ahead of performing her song, Atmosphere, Rexha added a disclaimer saying that she has been feeling more vulnerable these days following her split from her boyfriend of three years.

"I just went through a break-up so I might get a little emotional and you need to help me," she said.

Later in the evening, the singer enthused: "I am going to be at Heaven tonight partying and looking for a new boyfriend."

"I don't know why I would look for a new boyfriend in a gay club but you know…fluid?" the I Am singer quipped.

Rexha and Safyrion sparked rumours of a split after the former posted a lengthy text from her now ex-boyfriend "fat-shaming" her in a since-deleted Instagram Story earlier this month.

In the text, the cinematographer told her, "You gained 35 pounds obviously you gained weight and your face changes? Should I just pretend it didn't happen and that it's ok?"

"I never said you weren't beautiful and I never said I didn't love you. In fact I said how beautiful you are and how much I loved you," he wrote. "But I always said I would be honest with you and your face was changing so I told you it was."

Bebe Rexha has frequently addressed her struggle with body positivity and weight gain due to suffering from PCOS.
