The mother of Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari was rushed to emergency after being in a "major accident."
The actor took to Instagram Stories on Saturday, to reveal that Fatima Asghari survived the accident, expressing his gratitude to the "staff of @cedarssinai Emergency Medical Staff."
"Today my mother was involved in a major accident," he wrote.
He assured that she was now doing okay and "resting it off", owing to the "amazing" help of the "medical staff" as well as "some friends."
Born in Iran, Sam Asghari moved to the US with his parents Mike and Fatima when he was 13. He is the youngest of three sisters.
At 23, the actor met Britney Spears during filming the music video for Slumber Party in 2016.
The twosome played each other’s love interests in the video, eventually turning their fictional relationship into a real romance.
They finally tied the knot in June 2022 and have been going strong since.
In recent news for Britney Spears, the Toxic singer is gearing up for the release of her tell-all memoir, The Woman in Me.
The content of the autobiography is unclear, however, the book’s publisher Gallery Books promised a "brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope," according to the press release.
The Woman In Me will also presumably detail Spears' rise and fall in front of the camera, including her alleged abusive conservatorship under her father that lasted for nearly 14 years.
It is set to hit the bookshelves in late October.
