Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie couldn't resist sharing some exciting spoilers about the upcoming Barbie movie with Vogue.
Gerwig, with contagious enthusiasm, highlighted her favourite element from the set - a collection of cleverly designed Barbie books that humorously play on classic literary titles, such as "Moby Barbie" and "Catch 20-Barbie."
She couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sight of these imaginative props, adding a unique touch of creativity to the movie.
"Also, well, spoiler alert, there’s a moment where Ken has a bit of a flip out and he takes over.
And I don’t even think you see it, but in all the things that he puts in his Mojo Dojo Casa House, we had, like, four enormous massage chairs with video game controllers in them. Those massage chairs just made me laugh,” said Greta.
But that's not all! Robbie teased a thrilling moment when Ken takes over Barbie's Dreamhouse, transforming it into a testosterone-filled space with all things "dude stuff."
The set is hilariously adorned with enormous massage chairs equipped with video game controllers, presenting a comical visual contrast that's sure to tickle viewers' funny bones.
Both liken Barbie to a delectable lobster roll, describing the film as "seriously fun" and much more than just a sweet treat.
"There’s so much of that Ken stuff that didn’t make the cut of the film that was so funny … Like that stuff about bitcoin: Bits of coin? Bits of coin?" Robbie laughed.
Their animated conversation unveils the various aspects that make Barbie akin to this mouthwatering dish: cheekiness, a hint of naughtiness, a touch of extravagance, and, of course, the pink hue.
Barbie is out in cinemas now.
