Jimmy Butler 'makes' Shakira smile, are the two dating?

Shakira and Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler are dating but are still taking things slowly, according to a report from US Weekly. The story states she doesn't mind the age difference because he makes her laugh.

Shakira, 46, is 13 years Butler's senior, and the two have been rumoured to be dating for some time now, particularly after she was seen attending Heat games in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

"They have been out a few times, but things are very new and it's too early to tell if there's long-term potential there," a source exclusively told the outlet. "Jimmy makes Shakira smile, and she feels happy spending time with him."

Shakira, who has been romantically linked to a number of celebrities after her recent divorce, "doesn't mind" the 13-year age difference, the insider continued.

Butler, 33, was most recently seen at Wimbledon sitting a few rows away from Shakira as they moved the celebration to another location.

Despite arriving a few minutes apart from one another at the restaurant, they proceeded to supper together.

"The pair were spotted looking cozy inside the restaurant as they ordered at one of London's most popular celebrity restaurants," E! News reported.

Shakira was reportedly removed out of Novikov Restaurant & Bar by Butler's security team.

Butler and Shakira have not officially confirmed or denied the dating rumours. They'll presumably carry on skulking about for the time being, however ineffectively.
