X Factor alum Janet Devlin 'smashes jaw, wrist' after 'collapsing' in hotel corridor

Janet Devlin was rushed to a hospital on Wednesday after she collapsed in a hotel corridor.

The 28-year-old singer revealed that her jaw was swollen and had a wrist pain when she woke up the next day, however, she simply went to work thinking it was an abscess in her gum.

In reality, Devlin had actually "smashed my jaw on the floor and my wrist too."

"Just wanting to take a second to say a thank you to the lovely Drs, Nurses and NHS staff that looked after me today! Especially Tyrone – if you ever see this – you're a legend!" the X-Factor alum wrote alongside a series of photos.

"I've been safely discharged now! To anyone who doesn't know what happened – I collapsed on Wednesday night, on my own, in a hotel corridor," she continued. "I don't know how long I was unconscious for, but I just went to work the next day as normal."

The singer assured that after getting the tests, her bloods are normal and "nothing is broken." "I'll be getting a referral to look into the heart again. Oh and resting up!" she added.

"Thank you for all your lovely messages and thank you so much again to the NHS," Devlin affirmed.

One of the photos featured the singer laying on to hospital bed and wearing orthopaedic wrist support, while the other was just a close-up snap of her swollen jaw.

The last photo was from the Godfather film as she jokingly wrote: "the jawd father."
