Selena Gomez's Instagram 'unfollow' button takes centre stage.

Selena Gomez has quietly unfollowed Zayn Malik's Instagram account on June 25, catching the attention of fans today. 

Celebrity news fan account PopFaction was quick to notice that Gomez is no longer among Malik's followers, although she remains on his list. 

Furthermore, PopFaction highlighted that Gomez took the additional step of unfollowing Malik's ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid, as well as her sister Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, and Zendaya. 

Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik were reportedly spotted engaging in a romantic moment in New York City on March 23. 

According to a source who spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the time, the duo was seen kissing while out in SoHo. The intimate encounter took place around 10:30 P.M., as they entered a restaurant hand in hand. 

Remarkably, their presence went unnoticed by most of the staff and other patrons. Witnesses described a comfortable and affectionate atmosphere, leaving no doubt that it was a date between the two stars.

Their relationship was never captured in photographs, leaving fans and onlookers to rely solely on reports and eyewitness accounts. 

Gomez, on the other hand, spent the past couple of months in Paris, where she openly declared her single status on TikTok in early June. 

She mentioned being "a little high maintenance" but expressed her readiness to mingle, even hinting at her interactions with soccer players in the city.

In late March, a source revealed to Us Weekly that Gigi Hadid, who is also the mother of Zayn's daughter Khai, appeared unfazed by the alleged romance between Gomez and Malik. 

The source indicated that Hadid remained unbothered by the situation, suggesting a sense of acceptance or indifference towards the reported relationship.

"Gigi has no problem whatsoever with Zayn dating," the source said. 

"As long as he is happy and stable and continues to be a good coparent to [their daughter] Khai, she’s fine with whoever he goes out with."

Reportedly, Gigi Hadid is said to be involved in what has been described as a "friendly, no-strings situationship" with Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
