Marc Anthony welcomes baby no. 01 with wife Nadia Ferreira

Marc Anthony is a dad once again!

The 54-year-old singer has welcomed his first child with his wife Nadia Ferreira just in time for Father’s Day.

Anthony took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the news. "God's timing is always perfect. Happy Father’s Day," he wrote alongside a monochrome photo of him cradling his newborn son in his arm.

Anthony and Ferreira, who tied the knot at the beginning of this year, revealed their pregnancy in a sweet Valentine’s Day post.

"Best Valentine's Gift Ever!!!" they wrote in a joint Instagram post, accompanied by a picture of the couple’s hands on the former Miss Paraguay’s baby bump. "Thank you God for such a blessing in our lives."

Besides the newborn, the tropical salsa artist is also a father to twins Emme and Max, 14, who he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

He also shares sons Cristian Marcus, 22, and Ryan Adrian Muniz, 19, with his ex-wife Dayanara Torres.

Anthony is also the father of daughter Arianna and son Chase with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado.

In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning in 2016, Anthony opened up about his struggles as a working father, noting that he "would have loved" to be a stay-at-home dad.

"The one regret would be that what I chose to do took so much of my time," he explained at the time. "What I would have done to have … witnessed every second of everything."
