Many personalities will touch shining stars with fans running behind them, and the next day they would do or say something that would switch every button off for them — how the climax builds is truly a puzzle out of an absorbing mystery movie. It’s so interesting that today we have sat down to put together a list of people who experienced this cinematic view. Let’s start!

1. Kanye West

Kanye West's career has been punctuated by controversies that have fueled both fascination and outrage. In the late 2010s, his controversial suggestion that Bill Cosby was innocent and his assertion that slavery was a "choice" made by African-Americans ignited widespread condemnation and disbelief. 

The year 2022 proved to be even more tumultuous, marked by his highly publicized divorce from Kim Kardashian and his questionable conduct towards her new partner, comedian Pete Davidson, wearing a "White Lives Matter" shirt and making a series of anti-Semitic statements.

In an interview on Alex Jones's InfoWars, Kanye got notorious for spreading conspiracy theories and misinformation by expressing admiration for Adolf Hitler, astonishing even Jones himself. 

Kanye's Twitter escapades took a dark turn. He posted an image that was deeply offensive, combining a swastika with the Star of David, a sacred symbol in Judaism. Twitter wasted no time in showing him the exit door, banning him from the platform.

2. Amber Heard

Remember Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's divorce drama in 2022? It was like watching a real-life soap opera with all the twists and turns, courtroom battles, and even memes. 

Depp filed a defamation lawsuit against Heard, pointing to an article she wrote back in 2018. In that piece, she identified herself as the victim of an abusive relationship. 

The jury sided with Depp and ordered Heard to pay a hefty fine. Initially set at $15 million, it was later reduced to $350,000 due to state law limitations. The fallout from the trial was swift, with countless petitions calling for her removal from the movie Aquaman.

3. Ezra Miller

Things took a dark turn for Ezra Miller in 2020 when a video surfaced, showing The Flash star in Iceland choking a woman. Fast forward to 2022, Miller's behaviour continued to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. 

Reports emerged of their alleged involvement in several incidents, including screaming obscenities at people in a bar, trespassing into a couple's bedroom, making threats, and even throwing a chair at a woman's head. Additionally, they faced accusations of harassing and grooming minors, adding to the growing controversy surrounding their name.

They faced a burglary charge in August, which prompted their team to step in and take action. 

4. Will Smith

On March 27th, 2022, at the 94th Academy Awards, Chris Rock cracked a joke about Will Smith's wife's bald head. Well, let's just say it didn't sit well with the Fresh Prince himself.

Smith took it to a whole new level by actually slapping Chris Rock. It became THE scandal everyone couldn't stop talking about, drawing comparisons to the infamous Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake Super Bowl incident back in 2004.

Less than two weeks later, the Academy made a bold move and banned Smith from any future Oscar ceremonies for a whopping ten years. 

5. Alex Jones

Alex Jones is no stranger to spreading all sorts of wild ideas, he's got a knack for promoting misinformation. But if there's one thing that truly put him on the map, it's his involvement in the Sandy Hook tragedy.

Jones propagated a conspiracy theory suggesting that the devastating shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was all a hoax. This outrageous claim led to unimaginable pain for the grieving parents, who were harassed, threatened, and even told that their precious children never even existed. 

In 2022, he found himself in a series of lengthy trials. Jones' own lawyers accidentally sent his phone's message history of two years to the plaintiffs' lawyer. 

Throughout the trials, he tried his best to hide his assets but judges ended up awarding the plaintiffs a staggering $1.4 billion. 

6. J.K. Rowling

J.K. Rowling's views on transgender individuals sparked a tidal wave of backlash and criticism, reaching even the actors from the beloved film adaptations, with Daniel Radcliffe leading the charge in speaking out against her stance.

She responded to the controversy by releasing a novel in August titled The Ink Black Heart. 

Detractors swiftly labelled the novel as a case of self-insertion, suggesting that it was a thinly veiled reflection of Rowling's own beliefs and experiences. 

7. Fred Savage

Fred Savage, known for his role in The Wonder Years, found himself in the middle of some serious misconduct accusations. 

Back in the '90s, there was this whole thing where a customer accused teenage Savage of sexual assault originally getting The Wonder Years cancelled. On the sets of The Grinder in 2018, he faced similar allegations. 

New accusations came to light and this time it was all about verbal outbursts and inappropriate behaviour. Savage got the boot from his director and executive producer roles in The Wonder Years reboot. 

8. Cuba Gooding Jr

Gooding Jr dropped a guilty plea for forcibly touching a woman who worked at a New York nightclub back in 2018. This isn't the first time he's faced such allegations. A whopping 30 women have come forward accusing him of unwanted touching. 

Jr managed to strike a plea deal that required him to attend counselling for a solid six months. By playing by the rules, he dodged prison time. 

9. Kurt Zouma

We're talking about French footballer Kurt Zouma and his cat-related antics. In February, videos emerged of Zouma mistreating his poor feline friend.

Fans of the sport and animal rights activists rallied together and demanded justice for the abused cat. Sponsors, both for Zouma and his team, quickly realized that supporting someone who mistreats innocent animals is a major PR disaster. So, they pulled the plug on their support faster than you can say "meow." 

By April, Zouma found himself charged with animal abuse. He was banned from owning cats for a whopping five years. 

10. Ned Fulmer

Ned's Fulmer the ultimate 'wife guy' constantly gushed about his partner, showing the world what a devoted family man he was. 

His faithful husband image got a serious stain in September, which went from a perfect hubby to 'not-so-loyal Ned' in record time when news broke that he cheated on his spouse. 

The company wasted no time in taking action, showing Ned the door and firing him from his role. 

Saturday Night Live couldn't resist poking fun at it. They parodied the Try Guys' response video, turning the whole situation into comedy gold.
