Princess Eugenie of Britain has joyfully welcomed her new baby into the world!

The Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that Princess Eugenie, who is the niece of King Charles III, has given birth to a baby boy.

Alongside her husband, Jack Brooksbank, they proudly introduced their son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, born on May 30th.

The newborn baby boy, named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, is currently 13th in line to the throne.

Sharing their joy, the proud parents posted two heartwarming photos online.

One captures the newborn, peacefully asleep and swathed in a cozy blue knit hat, while the other shows August tenderly touching his younger brother's head.

"Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs," the Princess wrote.

"He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already."

The newly arrived baby, Ernest, carries a meaningful set of middle names that pay tribute to esteemed figures within the royal and family lineage.

Among these names are nods to Queen Elizabeth's grandfather, King George V, Jack's own father George, and Eugenie's maternal grandfather Ronald, who is the father of her mother, Sarah Ferguson.

Eugenie's pregnancy was officially announced earlier this year in January.

The palace shared a statement revealing the joyous news, stating, "Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child this summer.

The entire family is thrilled, and August is eagerly anticipating his role as a loving big brother."
