Ed Sheeran in Philadelphia: Singer SURPRISES fans with ‘unique’ giveaway

Ed Sheeran is giving away.

When renowned musician Ed Sheeran paid a visit on Saturday afternoon, Philadelphians were in for a treat.

Sheeran distributed cheesesteaks to fans at Philip's Steaks in South Philadelphia, and the Action Cam was there to capture the moment.

Sheeran is well renowned for giving fans unexpected pop-ups.

The celebrity announced on his Instagram story at around 1:30 p.m. that he would be meeting and greeting fans with the area's signature meal.

The musician included the phrase "Philly! Cheesesteaks are on me today at Philip's Steaks, 2234 W Passyunk Avenue. 2:30 pm, see you there x."

The artist had just asked Philadelphians where the best cheesesteak was in a poll he'd uploaded to his story.

"We got a free cheesesteak from Ed Sheeran, oh my god I am so excited!" said one fan.

"Probably the best days of my life, not going to lie," chimed another.

In order to perform at The Met, Sheeran initially arrived in Philadelphia on Friday.
