Prince Harry has been advised to make a "shift" in his behaviour with Prince William

Prince Harry has been advised to approach his estranged brother Prince William in a "less confrontational way" in his bid to ease his relationship with the Duke of Cambridge.

Royal expert Tessa Dunlop told Daily Star that a "shift" is necessary with the Duke of Sussex if he is expected to be forgiven following his explosive allegations written in his memoir Spare.

"Harry admitted he misses the big crazy palace meals with family members, he deliberately didn't attack his father in his book and alluded to a possible future Commonwealth role.

"But to shift relations onto a more functional footing with the Royal Family, a less confrontational way forward is required."

As of yet, it remains to be seen whether the Duke of Sussex will branch out to his estranged brother, a move with Dunlop claimed would be "lucrative" for him.

She added: "One that won't be as lucrative but perhaps will prove more satisfying.

"Certainly, it is a way forward that would suit William, the future King. But then matters are altogether more simple for William, he has a rock-solid inheritance and a throne to look forward to. Not so his younger brother."

With a mental health book that could "command a top-dollar fee" because to its impending release, Prince Harry is continuing on a book contract that was made before the release of Spare.

The Duke's agents seem to be holding out hope for a full film adaptation of his earlier book.
