Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham’s Friendship: ‘Have Sleepovers All the Time’

Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham are ‘inseparable’.

Regarding her close friend Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria is being candid.

In a recent interview with The Times, the 48-year-old Desperate Housewives star spoke about her long-standing connection with the 49-year-old Spice Girl. She claimed that the two share a unique bond that has remained strong throughout the years.

“We are peas in a pod,” Longoria said, talking about their friendship to the outlet.

“I wish people knew how funny and charming and smart Victoria is,” she added. “She’s the funniest person. I think she’s an introvert, but she’s an extrovert with me. We are inseparable.”

Longoria got to know the singer through her ex-husband Tony Parker, a David Beckham pal. After the Beckhams relocated to Los Angeles, she claimed that the two spouses would socialise, even remarking that David "is an amazing cook."

Longoria recalled that as they became closer, they would arrange to meet up in Longoria's favourite cities, Paris or London.

“We have sleepovers all the time, mostly at their farmhouse or in London. We usually just blab all night,” she admitted.

“She’s extremely loyal,” she continued. “There’s never a moment I can’t call her, that she’s not available, that she’s not flying to see me, or I’m flying to see her. Or I’m raiding her closet. She gives me motherly advice and business advice.”

The two women's connection grew even stronger to the point where Victoria named Longoria the godmother of Harper Beckham, 11, whom she described as "a sweet, beautiful, kind young lady."

She also played a key part in helping Longoria prepare for the wedding, designing several of her looks for the occasion. Longoria was getting married to José Bastón.

“She did my civil outfit, my wedding dress and the after-party dress,” Longoria said.

“She brought everything — I mean, she literally carried it with her. Put it on me, buckled my shoes because I couldn’t bend down, zipped up my dress when I got drunk. She was like, ‘I know my role.’ She is that best friend.”
