Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Lopez battling it out to win their kids' affection

Jennifer Garner is growing resentful of Jennifer Lopez’s bond with her and Ben Affleck’s kids.

Speaking to O.K. Magazine, a source revealed that the 13 Going on 30 actress “can’t help but feel a little slighted” that her three kids spend so much time with Lopez, living in the same place as her.

Garner and Affleck share three kids, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 10 together, who spend some days at Garner’s Pacific Palisades mansion and some at Affleck and J.Lo.’s Los Angeles place.

The insider revealed that the trio is spending so much time with the Marry Me actress that they “don’t want to talk” to their own mom as much.

However, Lopez is steering clear of any conflict that may occur between her and Garner as the insider noted: "she’s not going to change who she is, either."

"Obviously, she doesn’t discipline them as much, because she doesn’t want to overstep her bounds and Ben has always been the more lenient parent,” compared to Garner, explained the source. 

The complicated dynamic hasn’t been easy on the Batman star either, given that “he loves that his kids are embracing J. Lo, but he doesn’t want to alienate his ex or make her feel unwanted in any way," they added.
