Kevin Federline, the former husband of pop icon Britney Spears, is facing a lawsuit from a private Christian school over alleged unpaid fees exceeding $15,000, according to a report by Page Six.

The 45-year-old Federline and his wife, Victoria Prince, have been named as defendants in a civil lawsuit filed by an undisclosed California college-preparatory school in the Los Angeles Superior Court on May 9.

The lawsuit claims that the couple has an outstanding balance of $15,593 for the education of their daughters, Jordan and Peyton.

Court documents obtained by Page Six state that Federline and Prince, who have plans to relocate to Hawaii, are accused of breaching a contract signed on August 1, 2018.

A private Christian school, involved in a legal battle with Kevin has asserted that it previously requested payment from the couple but alleges that they "failed and refused" to fulfill their financial obligations.

In addition to the outstanding balance of $15,593, the private Christian school has requested 10 percent interest per annum from May 26, 2019, and attorney fees as part of their legal action.

This development follows reports from TMZ that Kevin Federline, Britney Spears' ex-husband, set a deadline for Spears to approve his plan to relocate their sons to Hawaii.

Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has revealed that Federline intends to proceed with his plans to relocate to Hawaii on August 1.

As part of the move, Federline will need to secure suitable accommodation, while his wife, Victoria Prince, has reportedly received a job offer from a local university but has yet to make a decision.
