Azealia Banks defends Ice Spice against 'crusty a** lackin' Matty Healy

Azealia Banks dragged Matty Healy after he claimed that his racist remarks towards Ice Spice “don’t actually matter.”

On her Instagram Stories Tuesday, the 212 rapper posted a screenshot from Healy’s recent interview with the New Yorker Times, where he addressed the backlash he has received for describing Ice Spice as the “chubby Chinese lady.”

“Does Matty Healy know that no one actually thinks The 1975 makes good music and that he’s a lame poser with a trash cliche band name that actually means nothing and he is clearly so pressed that a black girl who knows nothing about him or his music is making more moves and money than him,” she wrote.

The Harlem rapper continued: “Does he know that black women are more coveted in today’s industry because there is BIG BUSINESS in female rap.

“He is obviously so weak in the knees, thin-jawed and drug addicted that it’s easy to catch his crusty ass lackin.”

Bank’s outcry comes after the 1975 frontman claimed that people were “mental” for “being hurt” over his comments from a podcast in February.

She went on to brand Healy an “outrageous small white opinionated male musician,” as she questioned his credibility and knowledge about the industry himself.

“You’re not a star, nor are you good at whatever this crappy a– mid-2000’s indie pitchfork darling fantasy you’re trying to sell. Ice Spice has MILES more originality than you will ever,” the rapper lamented.
