Brian Cox is reminiscing about better times while filming Succession.

Following the release of the final episode of the series over the weekend, the 76-year-old actor took to Instagram to pay a sweet tribute to the acclaimed project.

“We have now come to the end,” he wrote in a statement. “And what has been, in my career, certainly the greatest work experience ever.”

He went on to appreciate the “harmony between crew and cast” and branded it “truly amazing.”

“It was on it’s [sic] way to become a great series but the Love and commitment from crew to cast and writers, made it memorable,” the Irish actor continued. “I would like to thank all of us in the making and creating of this show from the very bottom of my heart.”

Cox’s exhibit of such positive sentiments comes only days after the actor expressed discontent with the fate of his character Logan Roy, which was killed in one of the first episodes of season 4.

“I was fine with it ultimately, but I did feel a little bit rejected,” he said in an interview with Amol Rajan on his eponymous show.

“You know, I felt a little bit like all the work I’ve done and finally I’m going to, you know, end up as an ear on a carpet of a plane,” the actor lamented.
