Robert De Niro is expected to tie knot with girlfriend Tiffany Chen

Robert De Niro with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen, whom he recently had a baby girl, is anticipated to be married once more.

The Irishman star, 79, never intended to get married, but ever since the birth of his seventh child, he's been thinking of proposing to his companion, 45.

The actor, who keeps his emotions under wraps when he is in public, is reportedly quite pleased to become a parent once more in his old age, an insider revealed to Radar Online.

"Bob rarely shows emotion in public, but his friends will tell you he’s very excited to be a dad again — even at his age," the insider added. "He plans on being hands-on with the new baby."

At a press event earlier this month for his film About My Father, De Niro was questioned about his "six kids." The actor said, correcting the reporter, "Seven, actually."

He said, "I just had a baby," without going into greater information about his child.

Later, the Killers of the Flower Moon actor revealed to Gayle King that he and Chen had a daughter together, Gia Virginia Chen De Niro.

"Bob’s constantly working,” the insider said of De Niro, adding, “but Tiffany often accompanies him on location — and now they’ll have the baby with them."

"Bobby’s not totally soured on marriage, though you think he would be because of Grace," the source said while referring to his divorce with ex-wife Grace Hightower following a long and bitter court battle.

Talking of Chen, the insider said, "Tiffany is safe and sweet and kind, and she doesn’t feel inhibited by their age difference. She’s really great for him and he can see it."
