Tina Turner had reportedly gotten a head start on her financial affairs and sorted out her will prior to her passing.

Sources told RadarOnline, that the late singer had begun going through her money-related matters as early as 2021.

Driven by fear considering her string of illnesses, the source said that the Proud Mary hit maker believed that "her days were numbered and wanted to make sure everything was in place".

Considering her staggering wealth, the Grammy award winner's estate totaled to a whopping $270 million, with Turner selling off her entire music catalogue to BMG for an estimated $50 million.

"Tina knows her time is short, and she wants to make sure her ducks are in a row for her family. She’s been dealing with poor health for years and knows the end is near," a source said at the time.

Prior to her passing, the singer battled with multiple health problems for a decade. 

Back in January 2016, she suffered from intestinal cancer as well as a stroke in 2013, which was the consequence of high blood pressure and kidney failure. 

Later on in April 2017, her husband Erwin Bach donated his kidney, saving Turner's life. 

The What's Love Got to do With It musician’s death was confirmed in a statement by her publicist Bernard Doherty on Wednesday that said,  "Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland."

"With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model," the rep added.
