King Charles III and Queen Camilla are preparing for yet another attention-grabbing event.

According to reports, the royal pair are set to be crowned in an official ceremony in Scotland in July, only over a month after their coronation in the UK.

At the coronation, where King Charles will officially renounce his dedication to his Scottish subjects, he will be presented with the Scottish Crown Jewels, formally known as the Honours of Scotland.

Commonly known as the official service of dedication and thanksgiving, the spectacle will follow an intimate garden party hosted by the King in Edinburgh in celebration of the coronation.

Though the date for the upcoming event hasn’t been confirmed, it has sparked a discourse among experts and commentators on the ignorance of the Royal Family amidst ongoing financial woes.

Speaking to CNN Business, Angela David huffed that the family "haven’t really read the room, as it were."

"A lot of it should have come from their own pocket rather than the taxpayer. And I think it should have been toned down a little bit," she said.

The London-based ceremony held earlier this month culminated in the spending of an estimated £ 100 million, the majority of which stemmed from the cost of security on the day.
