Cody Walker and his wife Felicia have paid a touching tribute to Cody's late brother, the renowned Fast & Furious star Paul Walker, by naming their newborn son after him.
In an exclusive confirmation to PEOPLE, the couple revealed that their son, Paul Barrett ("Bear") Walker, arrived on Sunday, April 30, weighing a healthy 7 lbs., 4 oz.
The decision to name their child came to them just 24 hours after his birth, as Cody shared with PEOPLE.
Similar to their previous two children, Cody and Felicia chose to keep the baby's gender a surprise until delivery.
As they reside in Arizona, Cody expressed that the upcoming November will mark a decade since the loss of his brother Paul, making it the right time to honor his memory with this significant name choice.
For Cody and his family, their focus on cherished bonds and family values remains paramount.
This heartfelt gesture allows them to preserve Paul's legacy while celebrating the joyous addition to their growing family.
With November marking the poignant 10-year anniversary of Paul's passing, Cody shares, "I felt that now was the appropriate time."
"My brother, Caleb, and I are both done having children.
My brother, Paul, was Paul William Walker IV and that name goes back four generations," said Cody.
"Within the family, he went by little Paul or Paul 4, even though he quickly outgrew our father in height.
It was important to me to have that name carry on."
"Since Paul’s passing, ROWW has continued to assist communities in natural disaster zones in 13 countries, with over 79 deployments and over 63,000 volunteer hours logged."
