Queen Elizabeth II's brush with death revealed in FBI files

Queen Elizabeth II's life was under threat as revealed in FBI files. 

The files, which are accessible to the public, revealed that the threat to the late monarch's life took place during her state visits in February and March 1983. 

It revealed: "This man additionally claimed that he was going to attempt to harm Queen Elizabeth and would do this either by dropping some object off the Golden Gate Bridge on to the royal yacht Britannia when it sails underneath, or would attempt to kill Queen Elizabeth when she visited Yosemite national park."
