Celine Dion is pulling the plug on the rest of the Courage World Tour.
The legendary singer, who is currently battling a rare condition of Stiff Person Syndrome, apologized to her fans as she announced that she won’t be going forward with the remaining shows in 2023 and 2024.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%,” she wrote on her Instagram Friday.
The Heart Will Go On singer noted that it’s “not fair to you to keep postponing the shows,” adding: “and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.”’
“I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” she added.
Fans would be able to get a refund of their tickets for the 42 canceled dates via the original point of sale.
Dion had already performed 52 shows during North American leg of her tour before she was forced to pause it in the wake of pandemic and lockdown.
