Britney Spears had coffee with estranged mum 'after 14 years': 'I'm so blessed'

Britney Spears is taking all the necessary steps toward healing.

The pop star was spotted catching up with her mother, Lynn, at her residence in Southern California on Wednesday, after being estranged for the last few years.

Taking to Instagram, Britney reflected on the long-due rendezvous between the mother-daughter duo, writing: “My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it’s been such a long time … with family there’s always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!!”

The caption was accompanied by a photo of the singer as a toddler, dressed in a princess frock.

“And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!! I love you so much !!!” the Toxic singer shared.

“Psss… I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years !!! Let’s go shopping afterwards !!!” Britney added.

Spears’ resentment for her mother stemmed from the singer’s years-long conservatorship under Lynn’s husband her father Jamie and her forgo to speak up against the abuse she suffered during this time.
