Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck are 'closer than ever' amid rumours of troubles in marriage

Despite media outlets being inundated with claims that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage is in jeopardy, the couple is "closer than ever" and loving their lives.

Regarding their relationship, an insider told Entertainment Tonight that both the Shotgun Wedding actress and the Argo actor are "doing phenomenally."

"They are closer than ever before and both of them are elated. They’re feeling united and are in very positive spirits," the insider added.

This is in light of reports that Affleck is worn out from his marriage to J.Lo and needs some space from her. J.Lo is said to love to dominate Affleck's life to the point that it suffocates him.

The two were frequently seen arguing, seemingly confirming allegations, notably at the premiere of Lopez's most recent movie The Mother, and another time when Affleck was seen slamming a car door after Lopez got in.

According to a recent report, Affleck is "burned out" and simply needs his own space because juggling his dual responsibilities at home and at business has become stressful for him.

Affleck, however, "loves how talented, intelligent, and loyal Jen is," the first insider said before adding, "They lean on each other and are supportive of one another."
