A Taylor Swift fan crafted a strange idea to mint in money by selling the rainwater that poured during the singer’s three-hour show in Massachusetts.

The super fan decided to make use of the bad weather and jarred the rainwater from within the stadium and managed to sell it for a tear-jerking $250.

The fan shared the offer on Instagram with a description that read: "Taylor Swift Eras tour merch rain."

The scheme caused fans to have a meltdown with many making fun of the seller.

One person joked: "Jealous I didn't come up with this scam first."

"I was there. And I’m dying at this It was pretty epic," another said.

A third fan commented: "If it wasn’t collected off Taylor swift I don't want it."

A fourth fan hilariously congratulated the seller saying: "What an entrepreneur."

This emerged after another fan attempted to sell a pair of used eye contacts on Depop stating that they have "seen taylor swift eras tour".

It was listed for a whopping $10,000  however it was later removed, as the seller took to their page to reveal: "LMAO IT WAS A JOKE."

For the unversed, Taylor, over the weekend, had delivered a smashing performance in Massachusetts and even thanked fans for staying back despite the concert being hit by a torrential-level storm.

In a post on Instagram, she shared photos from the event and captioned the post: "Last night we all danced together in the rain for THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR SHOW in foxy Foxborough MA!!"

"We've had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before but this was a full on deluge that never let up, I just want to thank that iconic crowd!! Love you so much you have no idea."
