Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's silence on 5-year anniversary dubbed 'strange'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lack of acknowledgement for their five-year anniversary has caused a flurry of rumours hinting that the couple’s marriage is on the rocks.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who tied the knot on May 19, 2018, did not celebrate the major milestone in their relationship which Bronte Coy of news.com.au dubbed to be "very strange".

"Interestingly, they haven’t actually marked the occasion at all, I would say maybe they’re opting for privacy but that doesn’t really fit with recent events," Coy said while speaking to The Royal Report.

"It’s a bit of a weird one and it has certainly been noticed by people as well."

This comes after the Daily Mail reported that Meghan’s half-sister launched a scathing attack against the former actress stating that her marriage to Prince Harry will inevitably conclude in divorce unless the seek "extensive counselling".

Furthermore, she said that the royal couple's downfall could also be as a consequence of the people they hurt in the process of getting fame. 

"I see it ending in divorce unless they get extensive counselling and can agree to work on being honest, to work on apologies to everyone that they've damaged in the course of this bull in a china shop two-year spiel," she said at the time.

"I mean, nothing about any of this has been honest, and the damage to the Royals has been massive - especially now.

She said of the Duke of Sussex: "Maybe he's already questioning it, he has to be if he has a functioning frontal lobe. Come on, he's not 12."
