The celebrated star, has embarked on a new venture in the romantic city of Paris, where she is currently filming the highly anticipated musical crime comedy, Emilia Perez, directed by Jacques Audiard.

 Joining Gomez in this exciting project are talented actresses Karla Sofia Gascón and Zoe Saldaña.

 The filming of the movie commenced this spring; however, it encountered a delay of six months due to unavoidable scheduling conflicts, as reported by Deadline.

Karla Sofia Gascón, a talented transgender actor hailing from Argentina, has been cast in the role of a Mexican cartel leader in the upcoming film.

 The character undergoes a transformation, changing their gender to elude law enforcement and finally embracing their true identity as the woman they have always desired to be. 

According to reports from Variety, Gomez is set to host two new shows for the Food Network. 

One of the shows will be a celebration-focused series, slated to air during the holiday season in 2023. 

Gomez continues to expand her presence in the culinary world with an upcoming untitled show set to debut in 2024. 

The not-yet-titled series will follow Gomez as she visits the kitchens of renowned chefs across the country, collaborating with them to recreate their most beloved and sought-after dishes.
